PRESS RELEASE

On 23rd November, 1994, an organisation known as the M.N.K. sent a letter to Queen Elizabeth II informing her of their decision to take control of the United Kingdom. A copy of this letter should be found with the rest of this press release. This action comes into effect from today, the 23rd of November, 1994.

The M.N.K. can deal with any situation. At first there will be no obvious sign that anything is being done at all. But as the days and then months progress it will become clearer and clearer that there is a hidden hand at work in the runnings of the United Kingdom. Yet, we are not an underground organisation. We are not sinister. The reasons for our intervention are obvious. Government, conventional democracy, and the establishment scarcely seem to be able to cope with the situation our country has found itself in. What we understand as culture and society are crumbling. What we always used to believe in seems inadequate and unconvincing. The M.N.K. intends to fill in the lost foundations of our culture.

The M.N.K. is not affliated to any political party. Both men and women help serve the organisation. We do not belong to any religion and nor are we against religion. We are neither 'Left' or 'Right', Monarchists or Republicans. We can not be condemned to any easy category. We are open to anyone. We are authoritarian in cause, libertarian in effect. We understand that to fully 'understand' you have to accept everything that is true and not true, and then move on.

We have been at work for centuries. Our compatriots have moved through your organisations at ease, knowing they will never be found. You may well know one yourself. Indeed, reading this you may feel you are one too. Anyone can be a member of the M.N.K.. We hold ideas, magic and adventures everyone can be part of. Join us, know us, become us. Take our name in spirit. Tell people about us and spread the word. Remember: it could be you.
