@kitmacgillivray That AR Twitter tool: how long until the majority of apps will just be WebKit instances?
…Photos and videos are good too. Like yesterday when Obama visited the @FoxLand office. http://yfrog.com/17uy8ej
…Voice Control: fails. Doesn’t help when your partner is called ‘Meadbh’ and co-worker is ‘Inayaili’. “Play Pixies” doesn’t even work.
Surprised how much I like my new iPhone 3GS. Thought it was just going to be more of the same. The speed bit makes it feel ‘lighter’ to use.
Also: looking to hire a car in Munich. The Sixt website is the first trad car hire site I’ve ever used that works really nicely.
Playing with @stevenf’s Internet Garage Sale. Very nice for 2(?) days work. Not sure why I’m bidding on an iPhone, but whatever: FTW.
Also: waiting for my new iPhone to work
Pathetically excited by the prospect of a Judge Dredd film, assuming it is directed by Danny Boyle http://bit.ly/4oLcCL
I love the slide next to the stairs here: http://bit.ly/156c6L from Chloë Lederman’s photography website.
Visited Casper, Sally and @calumland today. One was very sleepy and tiny, one heroic, one emotional. Not (necessarily) in that order.
Overheard: “I hate things that are meant to be great”
Showing @briefly’s project http://cnolle.com/poa/ to a friend who loves it.
These are my links for July 17th from 11:16 to 11:16:
@worldofchris I like it! Is that the new BBC homepage concept?
@_ade Cheers Ade. No ground-breaking reality-altering navigation techniques used… yet.
Rethinking blog navigation conventions with @yaili
It’s the day before the day before the day before Christmas: my new iPhone 3GS arrives Monday.
‘Back to top’ links at the bottom of web pages: I instinctively feel they’re clutter, but I may well be wrong and people actually use them.
These are my links for July 16th from 10:22 to 10:22:
@calumland Showing pictures of young Casper to the office… hoping that is okay!?
@ivanka Yay for Friday! Can i go home now though?
@jasonsantamaria Something to do with default <meta name=”viewport”>? We get similar shrinkage issues if it isn’t set wide enough.
These are my links for July 15th from 11:51 to 20:49:
Playing with iWeb for my parents and their holiday home website: http://foxwestridge.co.uk/
@calumland Congratulations Family Land! Can’t wait to meet the new team member.
Whoops. Wrong account.
Laughed and laughed and laughed and laughed.
Also: ace.
re: iPhone dying: @O2 being nice about it. Getting new iPhone 3GS over the next few days. Video on a mobile: who’d have thought!?
Listening to The Sound of Music soundtrack at the office: more controversial than expected.
Links for July 14th through July 15th:
In other news: excited.
Three different versions of the Sound of Music soundtrack on iTunes… choices, choices…
Watching a bizarre and inappropiately angry piece on BBC Breakfast about swine flu.
@stevenoverman Cheers Steven! It’s taken us way too long, but we’re happy with it. Now I need some sleep.
iPhone really dead now. Contemplating expensive options.
And finally, the new FoxLand (in beta): http://www.fox-land.co.uk/ (via @foxland)
