Not feeling that great.
These are my links for October 26th from 14:39 to 14:39:
Excuse the profound boringness of these tweets about my screen — I’m just frustrated and venting.
So, the screen thing happened again. And I can see it via a VNC client on another computer. Does that mean it isn’t a graphics card issue?
…Not sure what to do now. Send the ‘faulty’ graphics card off… or cancel the whole exchange?
Huh. My Powermac’s graphics card seems to be working fine today.
Do they do Curb Your Enthusiasm tours in LA?
At a Farmers Market, with M&S. A milestone.
Avoiding chores. Just managed to watch Micro Men, which was great/nostalgic. Now: snoozy.
@leisa Any chance of you publishing that list? Would love to see it/compare with mine.
@petewailes Tried all that. Oh well. Cheers!

@petewailes I can login but Refresh Rate just says n/a -— same as on other Macs here (PS Thanks for your help!)
@petewailes Erm… any idea how I’d do that? The refresh rate? Is greyed out.

@petewailes It’s a Powermac G5 Dual 2GHz, and it’s an ATI card of some kind. The problem looks like this: http://twitpic.com/mkm67
Does anyone know how to fix graphics cards? Or does this mean I need to buy a new 27″ iMac?
Oh dear: http://twitpic.com/mkm67
Phew. Griffin is (mostly) coming across as strange, illogical, scheming and wrong. He will say he was misquoted tomorrow. #bbcqt
Odd: the new http://store.microsoft.com/ uses border-radius — something that would not work in any IE.

Nokia are a bit desperate then.
Strange. In Camden now, and Barry Adamson is elegantly swanning around here.
@aobregon I didn’t actually have time to get there! Already left the old neighbourhood. Sigh.
Now: CoffeePlant. Sob.
Now: Hummingbird Bakery. Oh my.
Aw, bless. A very nice welcome home at Rough Trade. With Barry Adamson swanning around elegantly outside.

Considered buying Windows 7, but I found the choice way too confusing: http://bit.ly/2OxPkE — huh?
Adding people tags of myself and others in Flickr: http://bit.ly/41eek2, http://bit.ly/qolQp and http://bit.ly/1LMPyr.
…which means I’ve been calling mine the wrong thing for well over 17 years. Oh, the shame.
I have learnt a vital lesson today from @yaili and http://bit.ly/1bNZ7j — the difference between a pseudonym and an heteronym. Which means…
… … … … so happy to have finally worked out how to do that on a keyboard…

@_ade And it’s £55… but I’ll probably get over that.
Left-wing? Right-wing? Don’t know? This (beautiful) diagram might just help: http://bit.ly/1jEo3e (via @mccandelish, @charltonbrooker)
@yaili Are they talking about my new beautiful white dishwasher?
