Good luck all.
@yaili Not many people still do.
Preparing a feast of raclette.
While it’s probably not very wise, I love getting S to sleep while holding her, as she looks into my eyes.
S is a baby, to be clear.
Doing Family things in Devonshire.
@yaili Oh yeah! Happy Birthday!
Seems to be the best day to travel though.
Right. Got to retrieve our belongings distributed throughout this house, then head to Devonshire.

@yaili Concerned by your lack of tweeting — you must be pretty ill. Get better soon.

Yet again Andrew Sullivan is the one to read re: Iran http://j.mp/6sme8X
Making cupcakes. http://twitpic.com/vcnv9
…Zeitoun by Dave Eggers (a bit inevitably for me).
For the first time since the birth of S I seem to be reading a whole book. I blame this darn telephone more than S though.
@aobregon For Will?
The sea here is steaming as the air is so cold.
@yaili Other Christmas (?) songs for your list: ‘Baby, It’s Cold Outside’. And it is.
Sorry, I meant: Merry Christmas from Portstewart!
Also: Merry Christmas from Portstewart.
Spent most of the night on the floor so I could hold S’s hand in her cot — otherwise she’d cry due to cold.
@kitmacgillivray Congratulations — and happy Christmas!
The Hangover*: ace.
*the film
Not having a great Christmas at the moment: M’s back has gone bad; S has cold, is teething and is bit hysterical; the TV just exploded.
Just made a tasteless, feeble chorizo, tomato and cod stew. Unfortunately it was meant to impress the mother-in-law.
Being very English in Coleraine.

Brrr.
@yaili Oh no! Hope you’re not feeling too bad, and that and the weather don’t stop your trip.
Sounds like we escaped London just in time.
Right then. Off we go. Hoping our flight is on, and I haven’t forgotten anything stupid.
I quite like Simon Cowell really. He took the KLF’s The Manual very seriously.
I didn’t see the Rage thing as being negative, snobby or against Joe or even Cowell — just funny, a tiny bit subversive… like great pop.
In the end, it turned out I was more excited about the carol singers.
Also: well done Rage Against The Machine.
There are actual carol singers outside!
Icy.
Was excited about trip to Golders Green for bagels and other delicacies. But nope, car isn’t going anywhere.
@yaili Any 2.9 nightmares?
